Welcome to God’s own country. Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, drive through the scenic network of roads leading to Munnar. This hill station in Kerala is marked by vast spans of lush green tea plantations, rivulets, colonial bungalows, gushing waterfalls and a pleasant weather. In transit, you visit spice plantations, Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Check-in at the hotel and relax for a little while. End your day with a sound sleep at the hotel.
Today after breakfast, go for sightseeing at Photopoint, Eravikulam National park, Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Pothamedu view point Blossom Park , beautiful spots for viewing the picturesque and a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded with. Later drive back to your resort for the overnight stay.
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady which is also known as Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Check in to the hotel, fresh up and then set out to visit spice plantations, elephant ride and Kathakali show. You can also opt for boating at Periyar Lake. After cruising, head back to hotel and end the day with an overnight stay at hotel.
After a delicious breakfast, checkout from hotel and drive off to Alleppey, the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom and begin cruising through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Don’t feel like ending the cruise? Then feel free to enjoy your night at the Houseboat.
After having your breakfast, check out the houseboat and drive to your beach resort at Kovalam.. After lunch visit the lighthouse and then enjoy the beaches of sangumukham beach, vizhinjam etc till the sun disappears into in the Arabian Sea. End the day with an overnight stay.
Kovalam is the international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water that is perfect for swimming and other water sports. Go around and relish all the moments at Kovalam with your spouse and let a romantic dinner mark the end of the day.
Check out your Kovalam resort and drive towards Kanyakumari, the southern tip of Indian Sub-continent and an important destination for pilgrim as well as leisure travelers. Check in to the hotel and later visit the famous Vivekananda rock and the statue of Thiruvalluvar, which is situated in the sea on the rock, suchithram Temple, Gandhi mandap etc. Enjoy an ever memorable sunset from there as it’s the point where Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal are joining together. Later move into your hotel for the overnight stay.
Till noon, have leisure in your hotel and later check out for your return drop off at Trivandrum Airport/ railway station.
